New parking lot adds 143 spaces on campus
The new parking lot in the southwest corner of the University of Washington Bothell campus behind Discovery Hall opened Wednesday, adding 143 spaces for cars and providing some relief from the parking crunch. The new lot brings the total number of parking spaces on the UW Bothell-Cascadia College campus to 2,540, including 54 for the disabled.

Dan Berger history lecture debuts on C-SPAN3
The history lecture by Dan Berger that was filmed Feb. 18 by a C-SPAN crew at the University of Washington Bothell will be shown Saturday on the C-SPAN3 cable channel. Incarceration in the Late 20th Century examines the rise of mass incarceration in the United States and the politics behind it. It’s scheduled to air April 30 at 8 p.m. and again at midnight EDT.

Cinnamon Hillyard, associate professor in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, has been named interim director of the First Year and Pre-Major Program. The first year program provides advising, transition services and access to student research.

Marine wins Fulbright teaching award
