Restorative research
After years of Investing in the ecological role of moss between the seed germination and establishment of conifer, Ashley Linkem was able to share the exciting results with other scholars at the Undergraduate Capstone & Symposium last December. Sponsorships by the UW Bothell Founders Endowed Fellowship and the Association for Women in Science allowed her to expand the meaningful study and fulfill the dream of finishing her own research project.
The Founders Fellow Research Stipends support undergraduates dedicated to research and recognize their efforts in the fields. The UW Bothell Founders Endowed Fellowship sponsors the awards and provides up to $3,000 for students.
