Students support ski-ability at Snoqualmie and Stevens
“Disability & Society: A Focus on Community and the Outdoors” was a community-engaged course directed by Dr. Naranjo as an opportunity to observe skiing from the perspectives of accessibility and disability justice. Students exchanged experiences and opinions with the event participants to learn about the techniques of how they cope with their limitations.
Community-Engaged Learning and Research (CELR) creates the opportunity for UW Bothell students to collaborate with their community partners. With the collaboration, students can look into experiential learning outside the classroom and gain a distinct view to enhance their studies.
