Digital Scholars: New digital skills put to good use featuring Minh Than
Sophomore Minh Than participated in the Digital Scholars Program at UW Bothell, where she honed her computer skills while helping fellow immigrants in need. She was able to continue her passion by helping the vulnerable using various digital skills and worked with the Washington West African Center to regularly update available resources on their website. Minh enjoyed the contribution and hoped this experience could help other students with similar backgrounds to be aware of the available sources on campus and develop personal ability for diverse career pathways.
The Digital Scholars Program provides opportunities for undergraduates to enhance their skills and knowledge in digital marketing, data analytics, and data visualization. Students will participate in a three-quarter (spring, summer, autumn) experience with skills training on career/major exploration and collaboration with local communities.
