As a part of the University of Washington, UW Bothell works along side the UW Seattle’s Office of Federal Relations, which is located in Washington D.C. Senator Patty Murray (D)

As Washington State’s senior Senator, Patty Murray has a proven track record spanning more than two decades of fighting for Washington State families in the United States Senate. Serving as a member of Senate Democratic leadership since 2007, Patty has established herself as a tireless and effective leader. She is the first female Senator from Washington State.

Senator Maria Cantwell (D)
Washington state
Maria Cantwell currently serves as a United States Senator for the State of Washington. As a respected leader — both in public service and in the private sector — Maria has always embraced the values she first learned growing up in a strong working-class family. With the help of federal Pell Grants, Maria was the first member of her family to graduate from college. Later a successful businesswoman in Washington’s hi-tech industry, she helped build a company that created hundreds of high-paying jobs from the ground up.
