Nominations and Elections
Do you know UW Bothell alumni or pending graduates who would make excellent additions to the UW Bothell Alumni Council?
Are you a graduate or soon-to-be graduate who is looking to stay involved?
Do you have time you can use giving back to the institution that gave you life-long memories?
Join the UW Bothell Alumni Council!
The council holds official elections each June but invites new people to fill vacancies or join as at-large members throughout the year. To be eligible for Alumni Council positions, candidates must have their UW Bothell degree or certificate — or it must be pending completion before council elections in September.
Nominations are accepted year-round, and self-nominations are strongly encouraged. Please email uwbalumn@uw.edu with your suggestion or interest.
The following positions are available.
- Chair (if the chair-elect position was vacant preceding elections)
- Chair-Elect (two-year term: first year as chair-elect, second year as chair)
- Secretary
- Membership & Marketing Chair
- Awards & Recognition Chair
- Fundraising Events Chair
- Alumni Relations Chair
- Alumni Liaison
- At-Large Member
All positions are appointed for a one-year term unless indicated otherwise:
The term of office is July 1 to June 30. Elections occur during the final annual meeting of the Alumni Council each June.
We encourage all nominees to attend the Election Meeting to speak on their own behalf.
