Am I a first-year applicant?

Apply as a First-year student if any of the following statements describe you:

  • You plan to enter UW Bothell after the summer of graduating from high school.
  • You have earned college credits during your time in high school (through Running Start, College in the high school, Tech Prep, AP, and/or IB) and you plan to enter UW Bothell after the summer of graduating (regardless of how many college credits you have earned or will earn).
  • You have never attended college since leaving high school (regardless of your age).

You should apply as a transfer student only if you have earned college credits after the summer you graduated high school.

Remember to give yourself plenty of time to complete your application. You don’t have to complete it all at once.

After you apply, we will contact you if something is missing and/or to submit final high school or community college transcripts.

Step 3: Enroll

ACCEPT YOUR ADMISSION

You did it! Being admitted to UW Bothell is a big accomplishment and another step towards making your dreams a reality. Accept your offer of admission to become a member of the Husky family by paying the $250 deposit.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT FINANCIAL AID

If you are seeking assistance to help fund your UW Bothell education, consider applying for financial aid. The priority application deadline is February 28, but you can still apply for financial aid after the deadline.
