Building access
All campus buildings are wheelchair accessible and connect to campus access routes via identified accessible entrances, sky bridges, and elevators. Every building on campus has accessible bathrooms, review the Campus Map for all accessible entrances and access route information and campus access hours on the Building Hours & Addresses website.
Discovery Hall (DISC)
Discovery Hall houses the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) offices, faculty and staff offices, a 200-seat lecture hall, classrooms, science laboratories, student break out spaces, and a Makerspace. The building is connected to Commons Hall (UW2) on the all floors at the southeast end of the building.

- Elevator located in center of the building on an access route and serve all floors
- Accessible restrooms for men and women are located on all floors, with gender – neutral restroom also located on the first floor
- Closest ADA parking is off West Campus Way and South Garage
Library buildings (LB1, LB2)
The Library is a joint use facility shared by UW Bothell and Cascadia College. The building houses administrative offices and support services, classrooms, and an Information Commons. LB2 houses Campus Safety on the street level. The combined building has 3-stories open to the public, and has enclosed sky bridges for accessibility.

- Elevators located in the LB1 lobby serve all floors
- Accessible restrooms for men and women are located on all floors, with gender inclusive restrooms also located on the third floor
- Closest ADA parking is off Campus Way, and North or South Garage
Library/Media Annex (LBA)
The Library Annex houses UW Bothell and Cascadia College student support services, student organizations, and classrooms. Located on the third floor of this building is the library reading room. The reading room is accessible through the Library (LB1) building. It is a joint use facility, shared by UW Bothell and Cascadia College.

- Elevator serves lower level through first floor
- Accessible restrooms for men and women are located only on the lower level of this building or on all floors of the adjoining Library/Media Center (LB1, LB2) building
- Closest ADA parking is off Campus Way, and North or South Garage
Commons Hall (UW2)
UW Bothell Commons Hall (UW2) houses STEM Graduate degree program offices, faculty and staff offices, classrooms and research/instructional laboratories, the Open Learning Lab, Writing Center and Quantitative Skills Center, and student breakout spaces. Located on the first floor of the building is the ‘Commons’ – a large gathering area – and the Common Grounds café. The building is connected to Discovery Hall (DISC) on all floors at the north end of the building.

- Elevator located in lobby near entrance, serves all floors
- Accessible restrooms for men and women are located on all floors. Note that the lower level floor is a split-level (L1 and L2) ); there is no restroom on L1 and the restroom on L2 which is accessed via the elevator from L1 or from Discovery Hall
- Closest ADA parking is in the South Garage
Founders Hall (UW1)
UW Bothell Founders Hall (UW1) houses Student Affairs, the Student Success Center; Career Center, Diversity Center, Disability Resources for Students (DRS), DRS Testing Center, Veteran & Military Community Center (VMCC), Husky Pantry, Reflection Space, and academic program offices including First Year & Pre-Major Program, Schools of Business, Educational Studies, Nursing & Health Studies, Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences, and STEM’s Computing & Software Systems; faculty and staff offices; classrooms and computer labs, and student breakout spaces.x`

Activities & Recreation Center (ARC)
The student Activities & Recreation Center (ARC) is the hub of student life on campus; it houses a fitness center, food alternatives, information desk, the Health & Wellness Resource Center, gaming alcove, student leader offices, meeting rooms, event and gathering spaces. The Activities and Recreation Center serves students of UW Bothell and Cascadia College.

Report a physical barrier to access
If you or someone you know encounters a physical barrier that is preventing equal access to a University building or area, please report it to us. Physical barriers are conditions in any structural environment that prevent or impede an individual with a disability from efficiently navigating the setting.
Barriers to access can include:
- non-functioning door openers
- non-functioning elevators
- damaged curb cuts
- issues with accessible restrooms
- weather related issues such as snow blocked paths
To report physical barriers on any UW Campus (Seattle, Bothell or Tacoma), complete the form using the link above or contact Customer Care. Once reported, the UW Facilities Customer Care Team will contact appropriate University resources from the specific campus to inform them of the report. This will initiate the process and our trained professionals will address your individual needs based on each set of circumstances.
