New club for cryptocurrency, blockchain fans
The UW Bothell Cryptocurrency Club brings together students interested in digital currencies and the underlying blockchain technology. The club shares ideas, brings speakers to campus and make contacts that can lead to jobs. Future activities include a cryptocurrency festival and mining a new coin.

Restoring life at North Creek Forest
For the past year, five University of Washington students have teamed together to bring a slice of forest back to life as part of a capstone project. The students — three from UW Bothell and two from Seattle — helped transform a half-acre of North Creek Forest from a neglected eyesore to a haven teeming with life.
