QSC sharpens math, science skills
UW Bothell students visit the Quantitative Skills Center nearly 13,000 times a year for help with mathematics, science and business classes. The QSC uses computer tracking and an electronic queue system in a comfortable environment. Online tutoring also is available.

Conference focuses on near-vision testing
An early look at what some new near-vision screening tests could look like was presented Nov. 4 at a symposium at UW Bothell. Students are developing apps that may be used in eye exams to detect whether school children have problems that affect their ability to read.
