At a free speech forum of more than 100 people, diversity leaders reaffirmed the University of Washington Bothell’s commitment to build an inclusive and supportive community. In another development, an online bias response form has been created on the campus diversity website and is now live.

QSC sharpens math, science skills
UW Bothell students visit the Quantitative Skills Center nearly 13,000 times a year for help with mathematics, science and business classes. The QSC uses computer tracking and an electronic queue system in a comfortable environment. Online tutoring also is available.

In his keynote speech to the University of Washington Bothell veterans reception, Army Capt. Aaron Thacker said his liberal studies degree in 1998 gave him critical thinking skills that have helped him in a career in public affairs and military police with deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan.
