Dr. Kristin Esterberg began her role as chancellor for the University of Washington Bothell on Oct. 1, 2021, just as the campus community was returning to in-person instruction after 18 months of remote operations. In her introductory video, she shares some of her first priorities, gratitude to faculty and staff, and advice for students.
Prior to joining UW Bothell, Chancellor Esterberg was president of the State University of New York at Potsdam. She is a sociologist by training and has published several books, including one on change in public higher education.
