Samara Reynolds has joined the University of Washington Bothell Student Affairs team as the new director of Career Services.
Reynolds has more than 10 years of experience in career and student development, most recently at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Career Services helps UW Bothell students build job search skills, explore career interests and connect with employers.
“Our goal is to open doors and create opportunities for students and graduates to define and deepen their professional interests, which will ultimately allow them to contribute to UW Bothell’s regional, national and global impact,” Reynolds says.
Services include counseling on career options and practical advice on resumes and cover letter review as well as practice interviews.
Located in the Student Success Center in UW1-160, Career Services holds workshops and networking events, helps students use LinkedIn for networking and also helps students find job and internship opportunities on and off campus.
Alumni can engage in one-on-one career counseling for free for one quarter after graduation and at a cost after that. They can attend any UW Bothell career events and workshops for free indefinitely.
