Dozens of University of Washington Bothell students present their work Friday, May 13, at the Undergraduate Research and Creative Practice Symposium.
Presentations and posters about undergraduate research and scholarships in all disciplines, including performing arts, are featured in the forum with peers and faculty.
The campus community is invited to drop by throughout the day, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the top floor of the Activities and Recreation Center. The event schedule is online.
Last year, more than 60 projects were featured. It’s a celebration of the students’ hard work and an exceptional learning experience, says Charlotte Rasmussen, director of undergraduate research.
The symposium concludes with the Faculty Mentor Award Reception. The Chancellor’s Distinguished Undergraduate Research and Creative Practice Mentor Award will be presented to two faculty members who exemplify the UW Bothell’s commitment to undergraduate research education.
The award winners are nominated by students, faculty or staff. Winners each receive $2,000 to further their research.
