A weekend windstorm caused a speed bump for some students driving toward spring break.
Some final tests Monday morning had to be postponed because of a power outage. Those finals will be rescheduled for Wednesday. Students should check with their professors for times.
The campus was closed after power went out during Sunday’s windstorm. It remained out Monday morning, keeping the campus closed. Power was restored and the campus reopened at 1 p.m. Monday.
Wind knocked down a lot of limbs on campus, and crews were busy cleaning up. At least one large tree blew down, pulling up a huge root ball as it crashed between CC3 and the Truly house.
