Two individuals and one team from University of Washington Bothell have been nominated for the 2016 UW Distinguished Staff Award, said Denise Rollin, human resources director at UW Bothell.
They are Kate Osmond, assistant director of graduate programs, School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, and Rosemary Simmons, counseling center director, Student Affairs, and the Student Engagement & Activities team. Members of the team are Samantha Penjaraenwatana, Sam Al-Khoury, Leah Shelton, Missy Dominguez, Aliyah Vinikoor and Andrea Ramirez.
The nominees will be celebrated at a reception with President Ana Mari Cauce and other university officials on Tuesday, March 1, at the University of Washington HUB ballroom.
The Distinguished Staff Award is the highest University of Washington staff honor. Faculty are honored separately.
