University of Washington Bothell marks 10th year of continuous growth with record fall 2015-2016 enrollment
The university welcomed its largest first year class of all time for fall 2015-2016 with a 9 percent increase over the prior year, making it the fastest-growing public university in the state of Washington and among the top ten fastest-growing in the nation.
University of Washington Bothell ranked best in state by Money magazine
For the second year in a row, the University of Washington Bothell was ranked No. 1 in both the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest, according to a ranking of best colleges in the most recent issue of Money magazine. Nationally, Money ranked UW Bothell No. 36 in its overall list of best colleges – up one from No. 37 in 2014.

The University of Washington Bothell’s Digital Future Lab released Ghostlight Manor by student publishers Nybble Studios. The Halloween-themed mobile game is the first commercial game from the Digital Future Lab and is among the largest University-sponsored game development projects.

On October 7, the University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College opened the new Activities and Recreation Center. The $20 million, 36,000 square foot facility is a hub of student life on an expanding Bothell campus.

A research team at UW Bothell became a part of math history after they discovered the 15th kind of pentagon that can tile a plane. The team includes School of STEM associate professors Casey Mann, Jennifer McLoud-Mann and undergraduate researcher David Von Derau.

For the third year in a row, the University of Washington Bothell graduated its largest class in its 25-year history. More than 1,700 students received bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as certificates at UW Bothell’s 24th commencement exercise.
